What is the Prophetic Wisdom and message in the Dua when leaving home?

The Dua mentioned above has three parts:

1. Bismillah,
2. Relying on Allah,
3. Reciting Laa Hawla Wala Qawwata

Bismillah

Through Bismillah, the message is being given to you that when you leave your home for a purpose, you should not entirely rely on external means, and you should not seek help only from external sources; Rather, real support should be taken on such an occasion, and accurate help does not come from anywhere except in the name of Allah; Therefore, you should recite Bismillah, then adopte the external reasons.

Allama Tayyibi writes that when a person goes out of his house, temptations stand outside, and he is in dire need of guidance and guidance outside the house; So the Shariat declared it necessary to take the name of Allah on this occasion; So that the guidance and guidance are together. (Markat Al-Mufatih: 4/1695)

Tawakkul - Trust in Allah

Tawakkul is an important term in the Holy Qur’an, which means trust. Trust in Allah is a great goal, and it is a command from Allah to His believing servants. Trust is the name, and decisions are made based on this trust in favor of the servant.

Allah, the Exalted, ordered His beloved Messenger to ask for forgiveness and seek advice in particular matters. “Then when you have made up your mind, put your trust in Allah; indeed, Allah loves those who trust.” (Al-Imran: 159)

From this verse, it is known that every Muslim must have faith and trust in Allah despite the plans and means.

A servant should entrust his entire affairs to Allah when he leaves the house; So that God’s help is present; this trust will solve essential matters. When a person leaves the house, different situations happen behind and in front of him, and he meets different people. If we do not trust in Allah, our Protection is rugged, so the above prayer was taught; To be protected from all these dangers.

(Markat Al-Mufatih: 4/1695)

La Hawla wa la Quwwata

I (leave) in the name of Allah, I depend on Allah and we don not have any power to do good deeds or to avoid evill deeds except with the help of Allah. In other words, the servant expresses his helplessness in Allah’s presence and acknowledges Allah’s infinite power and strength, saying, O Allah! I am nothing; everything comes only with your help and grace.
