Dua when entering the Bathroom
بِسْمِ اللہِ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Transliteration: Bismillahi , Allahumma innee Auoozubika minal Khubusi wal Khabaa’iss.
English Translation: O Allah! I seek protection in you from shytan and jinns, male and female
How to act before Entering the toilet?
Etiquettes and manners to follow before Entering the Toilet:
- Take off the ring if Allah name or any verse written on it
- Cover head and wear slippers
- Find the screened place
- Choose appropriate place
- Recite Dua before entering the toilet
- Enter the toilet with the left foot
- Don’t urinate in burrows
- Don’t urinate in path or shady place where sonmeone likely to sit

How to act after Entering the toilet?

- Enter the toilet with the left foot
- Don’t face towards Qiblah
- Put your weight on the left foot
- Avoid to urinate in standing position without any compulsion
- Don’t use right hand
- Don’t look at the private parts and play with things
- Don’t talk with anyone
- Don’t respond to Salam

What to say when going to the lavatory
Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلاَءَ قَالَ “ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ ”.
Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) went to the lavatory, he used to say: “Allahumma inni a`udhu bika min al-khubuthi wal khaba’ith.” Bukhari:6322
